Safe From Harm regularly delivers legal education sessions to English Language classes in various locations in partnership with Wingate Avenue Community Centre.
The sessions include an easy-to-understand media component and worksheets exploring the concept of "rights and responsibilities"; how and why laws are made in Australia; as well as a more specific section on family violence.
The hour long interactive sessions conclude with detailed information on how to access free legal services available in the community, including the Safe From Harm legal services.
