Safe from Harm regularly provides community legal education sessions to various groups, including:
- Community groups and organisations
- Family violence service providers
- Community members
- Schools – parenting groups and students
- ESL/English language classes
We are able to tailor information presented to the requirements of who we are presenting to, and include information on emerging issues or trends in the family violence space.
Our education sessions usually include easy to understand media components and information sheets for participants to refer to later.
Safe from Harm also runs community forums bringing together local community based family support services to facilitate better understanding of the scope of each service between service providers with the aim of facilitating more holistic and better supports for community members.
Our last two forums were very well attended and interactive, titled ‘Who Can Help?’ and ‘How Can We Help’ respectively.
